Who we are

Embracing Heart Supportive Service was founded by Tanya Ezui. Driven by a passion for humanitarian work, Tanya made it her mission to excel in providing care and empowering people living with developmental disabilities to improve their quality of life. She has over 15 years of experience working in various humanitarian work settings and with diverse clients. She is currently the executive director of Embracing Heart Supportive Services which she seeks to establish as the standard and go-to human services agency for Developmental Disability in Nebraska.

Tanya’s Developmental Disability organization dovetails perfectly with her vast experience, educational background, and personality. Her compassionate nature and amiable personality endear her to many clients. Empathetic and intuitive, she ensures that her clients feel understood, valued, and affirmed. She earned her MS in Justice Administration and Crime Management in 2012 and BS in Business in 2010 from Bellevue University, Bellevue, NE.

Tanya offers an array of assessment services and therapies tailored to each individual’s unique needs. Throughout her career, she has played an integral role in uplifting people living with developmental disabilities. In 2011- 2013, she served as a Certified Medication Aid, Direct Support Professional at Better Living Residential Services. From 2013- 2014, she was the Assistant Director and Lead Teacher at Nebraska Health and Human Services. She has also worked as a Family Support Worker for Joyful angel Day Care and Heartland Family Services. In addition, she brings invaluable customer service skills, having successfully led a team of 9 in delivering stellar client service.

Tanya is actively involved in the community and has gained a wealth of experience as a volunteer. She served as a volunteer at NASM-Afrique, Social Relief International, Africa Love International, and Alzheimer Association, NE. She is a member of the board of directors of nonprofit organizations that help children break out of poverty in Africa, especially in her native country, Togo.

Tanya believes that people with developmental disabilities thrive when accorded the support to draw on their inner strengths and tap into their potential to live meaningful, fulfilling lives. She provides a safe, caring environment to help individuals living with developmental disabilities and their families forge ahead and lead successful lives.
