Position Summary: Under the direct supervision of the Area Director, the Coordinator is responsible for assuring quality delivery of community-based services to those we support. This will primarily be in an office setting.
Position Responsibilities:
- Leadership – oversee team of Managers while remaining visible to staff and the people supported
- Inspiration – empower staff to be proactive, think outside the box, and find creative solutions
- Communication – maintain clear, transparent, and consistent lines of communication with Area Director, staff, and people supported
- Collaboration – conduct and attend staff meeting meetings ensuring team decisions are implemented as agreed upon and all goals are in keeping with SMART criteria
- Accountability – ensure Agency policies, procedures and all State waiver regulations are followed and maintain projects that meet and exceed HCBS ruling
- Auditing – review documentation received from Managers
- Budgeting – assist with developing and managing Area fiscal budget, ensure accurate billing data for Area including annual service authorizations and monthly attendance
- Flexibility – manage multiple on-going projects and other responsibilities as assigned
- This position would look for referrals within our system so that the proper SLP home can provide services to our clients.
- This position must show a great deal of leadership, be task oriented, have great management skills and meets deadlines daily.
For the success of the agency, we require the following:
- 1 year management experience in community-based services preferred
- Possess a valid driver’s license and pass a driving record check
- Able to clearly and effectively communicate with all staff and people supported
- Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite and all Agency required systems (previous experience with Workday or Therap preferred)
- Able to pass background check, drug screen, and pre-employment physical
- Able to clearly and effectively communicate with all staff and people supported
- Demonstrated ability to utilize basic computer functions and email
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, squat, walk, sit, stand, climb, push, carry, lift, and grasp
- Ability to inspire a team & resolve conflict
